Holly Manville – Company Director – Jazz, Technique,Turns, Stretch
Holly Manville has been dancing since the age of three and has been teaching for over twenty years. Holly graduated with a B.S in Psychology and in the process of finishing up her MFA in Dance, both from Arizona State University. Holly has danced in numerous Industrials, videos and films, including the motion picture “Tank Girl”. Holly was the captain for the Cardinals cheerleader for two years. She modeled locally with Leighton Agency and Internationally with Society of Style of Tokyo. where she modeled runway, print work and commercials.
Holly has appeared on Star Search with “Rush Hour” and choreographed for other groups appearing on the show. She was a member of Ballet Jude and The Cliff Keuter Modern Dance Company. Holly has been on Faculty at ASU, MCC, TDA, and Eastside Ballet. She has won numerous Distinguished Achievement Awards and National Overall/ High point Awards for her choreography.
Holly has judged for Dance Masters of America, Dance Olympus and On-Stage America. Many of Holly’s students have moved on to Broadway, River North, Lines Contemporary Ballet, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal, Cirque De Soliel, Prestigious Ballet Companies, The Rockettes, Las Vegas Showgirls, SYTYCD, Laker Girls and scholarships to colleges such as Juilliard, Marymount, Pace, Univ. of the Arts, Point Park, Univ. of AZ and ASU. Holly currently teaches at Mesa High School where she directs the dance department and the Euporea Company. She is also the Company Director at Tempe Dance Academy. Holly has a beautiful 14 year old daughter, Maya, who also is a dancer. Holly is always excited to share her love and passion in dance with all her students.
